Random
A randomized layout of Techo-Bloc materials can be a lot of fun to install and to look at. As you look at the different product lines available through Techo-Bloc, you’ll notice that some are better suited to this arrangement than other, so choose wisely.
You’ll enjoy a lot of freedom in the placement of each individual unit, and this particular “pattern” will create a great deal of visual interest, intrigue and texture for you and your guests to enjoy.

Linear
Linear patterns repeat themselves row after row. Consider this example: In the first row of your project space, you create a pattern that consists of 4 different paver types: 1-A large rectangle, 2-A small Square, 3-A large square, 4 – A small rectangle.
This pattern would then start again and repeat until the end of the row. In row 2, the pattern might continue in a way that is laid out exactly beneath the first row, or it might be staggered.
Staggering the pattern is a great way to achieve a uniform look and feel across the board without becoming boring. In other words, it adds to the overall depth and dimension of the area and creates more visual interest to stimulate the imagination.

Modular

Herringbone

In other instances, the pattern might make use of 75% square Techo-Bloc pavers and 25% rectangular pieces (or vise versa). Some might demand irregularly shaped units while others may use squares of varying sizes.
